Privacy, by intention.
Financial information deserves clear boundaries. Here is what we intend to access, how it will be protected, and what remains under your control.

01. Data minimization
Ryland Partners operates Ryland Finance OS for approved internal financial workflows. Once production authorization is available, the connector will retrieve only the company identifiers and financial information necessary for those workflows, such as balances, transactions, and reports. It will not request unrelated Intuit profile or payment scopes. This pre-launch site does not currently exchange tokens or retrieve QuickBooks financial data.
02. Read-only access & use
Authorized QuickBooks information will be used for internal financial reporting, operational oversight, and connection management—not for accounting writes or payment initiation. QuickBooks grants a standard Accounting permission that can allow reads and writes; read-only operation is an application-level commitment, not a separate permission provided by Intuit.
03. Token security
The production connector is intended to keep access and refresh tokens server-side, protected with encryption and restricted access. Tokens must never be exposed in the public interface, browser storage, or public logs. Authorization will occur with Intuit; we will not ask for your QuickBooks password. These production safeguards must be implemented and verified before the connector is enabled.
04. Retention & deletion
Information will be retained only as needed for approved workflows, security, or applicable legal obligations. Production retention periods and deletion procedures must be established before data is collected; no specific retention duration is claimed here. Revoking access stops future retrieval but does not automatically erase previously retained information. Deletion requests will be assessed against legitimate retention obligations.
05. Sharing & no sale of data
We do not sell financial or personal information. Once active, access will be limited to authorized personnel and necessary service providers under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. Information may be disclosed if required by law. No QuickBooks financial data is collected or shared by this pre-launch website.
06. Your choices & rights
You can decline authorization or revoke the app’s access through QuickBooks. Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information and object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. These choices do not change your underlying QuickBooks records.
07. Contact & policy updates
Privacy contact: pending publication. A monitored privacy and support address must be published before production data collection begins. This policy describes pre-launch commitments; implemented practices and any material updates will be disclosed here before production authorization is enabled.
