Terms of use.
The boundaries of our service, and the responsibilities that come with authorized financial access.
Last updated October 13, 2026 · Pre-launch policy · Support contact pending publication
01. Service scope & license
Ryland Finance OS is an internal finance infrastructure connector operated by Ryland Partners for authorized QuickBooks Online companies. Subject to these terms, authorized users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for approved internal financial reporting and operations. Production connection and data retrieval are not available at this stage.
02. Authorized access
You must have authority to connect the QuickBooks company and consent on its behalf. Each company must be separately authorized through Intuit’s OAuth process by an eligible company administrator. You may revoke authorization. Do not provide credentials, tokens, or access to a company you are not authorized to manage.
03. No accounting writes
The connector is intended solely to read approved financial information. It will not create, edit, or delete accounting records, initiate payments, or write back to QuickBooks. QuickBooks’ standard Accounting OAuth permission is not technically read-only; the read-only boundary will be enforced by this application’s implementation.
04. User responsibilities
Protect your Intuit account and company access, use the service lawfully, and ensure the information you authorize is appropriate for the intended workflow. Do not bypass security controls or use the service to access another company without permission. Review financial outputs against your source records before relying on them.
05. Limitations & availability
The service does not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment, or audit advice. QuickBooks availability, permissions, data quality, and third-party changes can affect results. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted access, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
06. Suspension & termination
Access may be suspended for unauthorized use, security concerns, or service changes. You may stop using the service and revoke its authorization. Disconnection stops future access; handling of retained information is governed by the privacy policy and applicable obligations.
07. Support & updates
Support contact: pending publication. A monitored support address must be published before production authorization is enabled. Until then, no public support email or service-level commitment is represented. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the updated policy before continued production use.
